Kibosho Primary School Kibosho Primary School is the focal point of our initiative, where we provide comprehensive support to students. Through our program, not only are students supplied with essential school uniforms, but we also extend financial assistance to alleviate the burden of school fees. This multifaceted initiative is meticulously designed to enhance access to quality education for all students in the school. Sungu Primary School The renovation of primary schools in Tanzania stands as critical need, driven by persistent challenges faced by numerous government-owned schools. These schools have weathered neglect due to limited government resources and an overwhelming demand for primary education, compelling authorities to prioritize new school establishment in underserved areas over the maintenance of existing ones. Uchau primary school is one of those schools whose time has taken a toll on its physical assets, resulting into deterioration of its infrastructure. This physical deterioration has significantly hampered the learning environment and depriving the community of a nurturing educational center hence hindering overall growth and development opportunities. This project aims to revitalize school infrastructures through cost-effective renovation strategies and a community driven maintenance plan with the intention of restoring and sustain infrastructure. Successful completion of this project will enhance learning environment for 200 students at Uchau primary school, fostering increased students engagement and academic achievement, and provide a well-equipped facility for the preparation of nutritious meals for students. Community involvement and comprehensive maintenance plan will sustain infrastructures, ensuring enduring benefits. Project risks such as budget overruns and subpar quality of renovation work will be mitigated through a comprehensive renovation plan, close monitoring, contingency measures and collaboration with Moshi district engineer for ensuring the renovation work comply with required standards. Kibaoni primary school Kibaoni primary school has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to providing primary education, catering to the needs of both disabledand non-disabled students. Initially the school encountered challenges in meeting the needs of disabled students, impeding their access to quality education. Although attempts were made to adapt a small classroom for mentally disabled students, the limited capacity becameinsufficient as the student population increased. To address this, external funding was sought due to financial constraints within thegovernment. AKO Germany played a pivotal role by initiating the construction of specialized classrooms for mentally disabled students,resulting into a notable increase in student enrollment from 25 to 60. However, financial constraints among parents continued to prevent many disabled students from attending classes regularly, highlighting the need for additional support. 2.1. Project Goal The overarching goal of this project is to facilitate access to quality education for mentally disabled students in Hai district. 2.2. Project objectives i. To finalize construction of the school dormitory to provide suitable accommodation for 80 mentally disabled students ii. To equip the dormitory with essential facilities to ensure a conducive living environment for the mentally disabledstudents. 2.3. Project scope The project scope involves the completion and furnishing of the dormitory, encompassing tasks such as installation of windows anddoors, walls plastering, plumbing, ceiling board installation, glasses assembling, tiles laying in bathroom, electrical installations,latrine setup, laundry completion, floor finishing, and painting for both interior and exterior areas.
